How to Set Up Catalinks on Your Store

Getting your internal linking strategy up and running takes less than two minutes.

Catalinks uses Shopify’s native App Blocks, meaning no code is required and your theme remains perfectly safe.

Step 1: Open Your Theme Editor

1. From your Shopify Admin, navigate to Online Store > Themes.

2. Click the Customise button on your live theme.

Step 2: Add the Catalinks Blocks

1. Use the dropdown menu at the top of the Theme Editor to select the Products (Default Product) template.

2. On the left sidebar, click Add Section (or Add Block, depending on your theme setup) and select the Apps tab.

3. You will see two options: Links (Above Fold) and Links (Below Fold).

4. Click to add the block that matches your strategy.

Step 3: Customize and Save

1. Click on the newly added Catalinks block in your sidebar to open its settings.

2. Customize the heading, colors, layout (Pill or Underscore), and slider behavior to match your brand.

3. Click Save in the top right corner. Repeat this process for the Collections template if you want links to appear there as well.
